April 30, 200719 yr I was thinking about casting crumble undead on the Ankou a few thousand times to level magic... But I don't want to die, so what is their max hit? (Trying to figure out how much food to bring)
April 30, 200719 yr All they ever hit on me was 8 and below so thats what I say. (Tip: If you're magic level is 45+ a good way to train is using Camelot Teleports (P2P only)) ~~!~~ScOrPuS~~!~~
April 30, 200719 yr I know for a guaranteed fact that the max hit of the lvl 75 ankous is 8 but i don't know about the other two. also as a heads up I've killed over 2k of them and I have never seen a fire rune, coal or addy med drop yet. I am f2p btw
April 30, 200719 yr 8, for all levels, I'm pretty sure - with a serious risk of 8, 8 There is a fairly good safespot available, and the door is close if you lose control of it, the main thing is to avoid collecting one on entry.

April 30, 200719 yr Author I was there searching in melee gear looking for a safespot and I couldn't find one :/ Care to elaborate?
May 1, 200719 yr Go south from the entrance, run west across the next room (ghosts)then west in the corridor, to the south central room. Check the door (annoying if that's when it gives you an immediate pass), and the dive for the space in the skeletons on the south wall. Unless you collected one on the way in, they will normally corner-trap even if they try to approach from the door side. Even if you only want Ankou (for drops), if a Skeleton is aggroed on you, you MUST eliminate it, trying to dodge one that's waiting for you is a sure way to lose the safespot - you CAN break for a drop nd get back, but pick up one more monster in addition to a waiting one, and you have a hard time controlling the spot. Mind you, I usually work that spot using curse + firestrike, using crumbles, you should be able to sweep them away faster - I'd also curse first, to get the most out of your attacks.
