It looks like you just took pictures and shrunk them down and lowered the opacity on them and put an abstract behind them. 3/10

That's not what it looks like... That's what it is.

Not very impressive. Also, get a better font (dafont.com) and add borders on them.

Hey I haven't made those characters :D They're squaresoft trademark. But those backgrounds, some of them are my own and some of them are from "few guys"

I ain't sure how to create borders with psp 7, infact I don't even know how to create them. Can't find any advice via google. Could anyone explain how to create borders?

First of all good to see you giving it a go m8. Couple of pointers, even though I am new to sig making myself. I don't want to retread over some of the other posts but the text is a problem, just try changing the colour to suit the image to make it readable. Using pictures of characters and stuff is fine, but try to shrink them down "organically" rather than try to cram them into the sig space. By this I mean change the image size to fit the sig, using the adjust image size tool, and make sure you maintain the "aspect ratio" of the images, this will make sure they dont look stretched. Finally, try to be a bit reserved on how much you use the opacity slider, because you dont want the pic's to become unviewable. Try messing with the layer effects in order to get a good "blend" between the image and background.

But a good start m8, keep experimenting and you will get some cool looking sigs in no time.

what he said, but also try gaining a focus point on a sig, every good sig has a fous point, in mine i intended squall to be the focus point, urs lacks that which means that people while read'n the boards will glance over ur sig without really paying much attention to it, on the bright side, do like ur rikku one, though one again it does somewhat lack a focus point, keep work'n on it m8
