Okay :). Any hints on how I could go about fixing that surface map? I know the gist of how it works, but remember, this is my frist time using the program.

Bit lazy to post it again, but look on the first page, i explained the surface map a bit. Basicly just kind of put in the snow for the grass part if you want a snowy image :)

There we go. Your mountains look "cool" and your atmosphere seems to be working ok (although it will probably change when you correct your levels, which you need to do btw).... but your composition is horrible... break some lines.

Hold on, let me try to grasp what your saying here. I need to umm... make the landscape less.... can't find a word for it, but I know what you mean, and make the landscae very more as far as the ground starting lines begin (not sure of a word for that either). I think I get what you mean, but how would I DO this?

He basicly means to do something origonal, just not a mountain with some stuff :) First peice usualy is a test i think anyways, learn the limits, than you can start working on some art :D

I have an idea for a terragn thing that isn't the normal from what I am grasping, a glacier. My idea was to have an ice wall and then using photoshop to layer over some rocks on the left and right of the wall so there would be an edge to the glacier. I don't really know how to do this so ya'll might want to give it a go. I'll post a picture of it mine after I start/finish it.
