Ok, two days ago I got a task for 187 greater demons. After getting my supplies, I headed up to to greaters on karamja. After about 32 demons, I see something in the drop pile. Clue scroll!!

 

 

 

I follow the clues around for about 20 minutes. I finish a puzzle from the guy in the duel arena, and get my reward. Guthix vambs!! After a few minutes on the forums, I get an offer, so I tele to fally, and sell it for 250k. Then I look at my cash, and see I have 450k. I go on the forums, and offer a guy 400k for a black mask. He says "No. 450k." I say "Ok, suit your self". About 5 minutes later, I get an offer from a guy for 375k for the mask. I'm like "Sweet! Saving 25k!" I go trade him, get my stuff together, and head back to the demons.

 

 

 

At this point I have about 150 deoms left, so I start killing. Now that my max hit is increased by about 4, and my attack is much better, I kill them much faster (Thanks to my black mask!). 50 demons later I get a message saying "Congradulations! You just advanced a slayer level!" Yay! I keep killing, and when I get to 68 demons I think it was, I look at the drop pile. Yay, another clue!. I follow this around for a while, and I guess what I get? Rune legs (g) and guthix page 1! Yay! I post on the forums, and get an offer for the guthix page at castlewars. I tele, and sell it for 60k instead of the 50 he had posted for.

 

 

 

While I'm there, I decide to try to sell the rune legs (g). After about 2 minutes someone offers 235k. Great!! I put my cash in the bank, and realise I have enough for a cannon. I post on the forums buying for 535k. While I'm waiting I decide to go sell my prayer pots. I head up to edge, and sell all of them (37) for 8k ea in about 10 minutes! Just as I finish, I get an offer for a cannon. 540k. Sure. Close enough. So I tele to the duel arena, and he offers the cannon, and I decline, because he said he would include airs and a duel ring for me going over the price. He puts up the cannon, and air runes, and the duel ring only has 2 charges. I decline, and he trades, offering an extra 100 airs with the ring and cannon. I put up the money, and we accept the trade. About 30 seconds later, I look at my inventory, and realise I still have all the money, and the cannon. At the same second he says "What?? Where did my money go??" The money somehow didn't go through the trade somehow. So I give him the money I owe him, and head back up to greaters.

 

 

 

30 kills later. Another clue. Jeez! I follow the clue around, and just get 2 mage longs, normal rune legs, 12 purple sweets, and 15 shark. Not too good of a clue, but its something.

 

 

 

 

 

Well, that concludes my awesome luck. And I still have 30 demons left to kill. Thanks for reading. And btw, this happened over 2 days, not one.

And a cannon might be a waste if you make 50k an hour, but otherwise, it is awesome exp.

thats 5 clues in one task!

Sounds about right...they seem to drop clues for me (when i did greaters) about as often as they dropped rune full helms

 

 

 

In the picture you might want to note or something that you didnt pick up your first clue scroll and then you got the second one and picked up the first one so as it wouldnt dissappear :wink:

 

 

 

Cause with the way that picture looks it looks like you got one while you already had one lol

I picked up the second one after the first appeared.

 

 

 

Now I just sold my black mask for 450k, and bought back for 400, and sold one of my 3 pairs of rune legs for 65k

Oh. Now I get what you're saying. Unfortunatly the clue I picked up was my second one. I didn't see the first until I took the pic. It dissapeared just after the pic. Otherwise I woulda tried to telegrab it or something.

bad clue. Rune full helm and a few bloods and nats. And 6k cash. Well at least the helm alchs for 21k.
