Buy/Make Yew longbow

Buy/Make Nature rune

High alch.

Repeat.

Quest cape obtained at combat level 83, march 07.

well, it depends how you want to go about it really. if you want fast exp but a loss of cash, then you have a couple of options...

1. buy nats and yew longs. you lose about 60k per k alched

2. enchant in the mage training arena. i'd only suggest this when you can enchant onyx

if you want to break even or make a profit.. again you have a couple options:

1. buy yew logs bs and nats, you'll get 99 fletch on the way.

2. buy pure ess and yew longs, you'll make about 100k per k alched.

of course there's always pc if you're lazy. i suggest mixing it up a bit.. i bought my way there for the majority of my exp with nats and longs, also i got mage book and boots in mage training arena and did things like barrows/dk's/steel drags for some variety.

Mage longs are way way harder to buy in bulk. if you're trying to buy enough to get to 99 mage this could be very tedious (around 85k alchs from 90-99). Yew logs and longs are plentiful and save so much time compared to mages.

EDIT: My bad grammer.

Well if you buy yew longs at 600 each and nature runes at 300 each you'd lose 132 gp per alch, now 21M divided by 132 is 159,000 (159k) alchs.

The magic cal on tip.it says that at level 75 (1,245,756 exp) you'd need to alch 181,000 (181k) times.

Which means you about 22,000 (22k) alchs short or 2,900,000 (2.9M) gp short.

If you want to get 99 magic from alching then you'd need to have 23,9000,000 (23.9M) gp.

You could also do the magic arena where you'd make money but it is very long and teadus. Another option is pestcontrol, you'd need about 11,000 (11k) points to get 99 magic, I think? Can some one do the math cause I think thats way to low.
