Featured Replies

what do you all think would be the best free to play training monster? im thinking either mossies or lessers. my secondary account is the one i want to train, with lvl 97 combat with 78 atk 80 str 78 def and 78 hits and 58 pray. any suggestions?

If your thinking mossies on crandor maybe, anywhere else and any lessers definetly not. If you want the best money.\/drops/ goodies from it I would say go and kill ice giants (great spot in wild). Now if you want just plain solid xp i would go to the sos and train on the lvl 50 giant spiders or the flesh crawlers.

Agree.

If you want better loot definantely Ice Giants.

If you want the faster exp you could kill Flesh Crawlers (Level 35, 25 hitpoints) since you don't have to do so much yourself. They are agressive for a long time so you can kill pretty many then use the boney chain back to the start, walk back and they are agressive again. These also just have a max hit of 1 but they sure are fast.

The Giant Spiders (Level 50, 51 hitpoints) on the third floor of Stronghold of Security are agressive for a long time too and they are closer to the ladder so you can make them agressive again fast. They have more then double the hitpoints so they are better to kill, though they have a higher max hit.

I got a lot of lvls down there but the bad thing about these is that they give no bones, so if you want prayer too the Ice Giants is your spot.

Hope this helps :D

It depends on how you define "best"

If "best" means "best drops" then Lessers and/or Moss Giants are good.

If "best" means "fast exp" then the second level of the SoS would work very well.

If "best" means "least food required" then the first/second level of the SoS would work well.

If "best" means "afk style training" then the flesh crawlers in the SoS work well.

If "best" means "closest to a bank" then Edgeville or Varrock city guards would work well.

So, tell us what you mean and maybe we can give you better advice.

Hope this helps

go stronghold of security second lvl and train on lvl 50 red spiders. i get loke 50 to 67k exp per hour. ur inventory should have 1 law, 1 fire rune, 3 airs, 1str pot. and the rest lobbies or swordies.

actually in wildy is better training spot...less crowded, barely any pkers, and a cosmic spawn nearby... but ice caves are safer
