StyIez
I don't understand how my herbs aren't done half the time. Planted at 3:30 EST, it's 4:55 and they aren't done yet. I thought herbs take 70 minutes to grow? Happened to me last night also..taking longer than 70 minutes. Why? 126 Combat2178 Skill Total16 Level 99 Stats

dippymister
Ya, the same thing happens to me a lot. I'll go to check it 70 mins later and it'll end up taking over 2 hours... I suppose 70 mins is just an approximate time, can't be guaranteed. :ohnoes:My Guide on Obby Mauling!
Celestrana
Invest in an Amulet of Nature and you'll always know when your herbs have grown or has been diseased. I exclusively use the Trollheim disease-free herb plot and I've "attached" my Amulet of Nature to it. Then, whenever I'm skilling somewhere and my herbs are fully grown, I go to the nearest bank, grab the runes I need to teleport, an herb seed and replant my herb patch. Hassle free herb farming was worth the 50k gp I spent buying a Magic Tree root to make my Amulet of Nature    You'll be growing herbs one patch at a time but you'll have an herb harvest 100% of the time. Bippitee
Just in case anyone doesn't know, doing the quest "My arm's big adventure" will give you a fifth herb patch, one where the herbs never die. So you can grow your best stuff there and leave it a good 2 or 3 hours to make sure it's grown and have no worries.
