May 12, 200719 yr im curious how they trace this? my friend is lending me about 2 mil for my cooking goal of 99 to buy more monks but im just wondering will they ban for something like this?
May 12, 200719 yr They don't ban people who just lend money... - Back to casual f2p scaping due to limited time (university and girlfriend ) -
May 12, 200719 yr No one knows for sure how they trace it. It's not something Jagex advertise otherwise wouldbe cheats would know how to avoid being caught. Jagex must be quite adept at spotting true cheats now since they just banned nearly 20k accounts. It must be fairly obvious whatever it is these cheats are doing. Seems that geniue players don't have to worry about lending stuff or giving out free gifts. Jagex must look at other stuff too otherwise lots of innocents would be banned (which isn't happening)
May 12, 200719 yr Author ok ok yeah i figured but thought hey why not just post to find out... my friend was also a bit sketched about it too just hit 94 cooking btw
May 12, 200719 yr Clearly a lot of people buying gold thought they would get away with it, so were quite surprised when they actually got permanently banned. This goes to show that we really do mean it when we say that buying gold for real-world money = permanent ban. We have reliable ways to trace this now. (These are NOT people lending items to their friends, we really are sure they were genuinely buying gold for real world money.) i give / recieve free (borrowed) items and money in large amounts, for about 3 years and ive never even been questioned about irl trades so im sure your safe if i can drop 10m large to my best friend irl lol...
May 12, 200719 yr I just loant my friend 5m and nothing happened. They don't ban people who are just lending out money or items. Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much.Oscar Wilde
May 12, 200719 yr i think there looking for constant money makers, who constant have no money. thats fishy, and thats a irl trader (unless you are gaining lvls that need money)
May 12, 200719 yr They probaly look at previous history with that friends (they probaly can) and heaps of stuff like that, so most likely your safe. Doomy edit: I like sheep
May 13, 200719 yr they might also see if u continue playing after giving away the cash, like ppl who are selling cash are probably quitting too also they might trace the seller, and see if he ever made trades with lower lvls-as in his macros otherwise, im not too sure, i really hope they have a good system goin, hearin about so many ppl gettin banned will relaly make ppl rethink lending money to friends pure:demon_x_king
May 13, 200719 yr my mate is lending me 500k cos i got hacked and everything stolen will i get band :-k
