May 13, 200719 yr What does Iron Smelt with? for example: Copper + Tin=Bronze Bars Iron + ?= what? and the other ones?
May 13, 200719 yr Iron smelts by iteself, but without a Ring of Forging you will only get around 50% to make bars. Iron has a 50% chance to either be too inpure or to make a bar. With the ring of forging (ruby ring that's been enchanted) you get 100% of your iron ore into bars. Steel is 1 Iron + 2 coal Mithril is 1 mithril ore + 4 coal Adamintite is Addy ore + 6 coal Runite is rune ore + 8 coal There are the major ones. Gold ore and silver ore both make bars 100%. aka 1 gold ore or 1 silver ore = 1 gold bar or 1 silver bar. Check out the smithing guide here on tipit too :D will tell you what I just did plus give tips ect. http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=smithing_guide.htm there is the link. Proud Quest Cape Owner
May 13, 200719 yr You should also know that the rings of foriging that allow you to always succesfully smelt iron are for members only. This signature is intentionally left blank.
May 14, 200719 yr Iron is used to make iron bars and steel bars. Ores are worth more alone than if in a bar though. "Stupid is smart you dumb n00b." - noob in lumbridge
May 14, 200719 yr Using the spell "superheat item" will smelt iron ore 100% succesfully as well. Lvl 43 magic is required for this spell and needs 1 nature rune and 3 fires to be casted. It of course smelts other ores as well.
