Membership Payment Issues. -- Answered, Closed, Whatever.

I've done this twice now. Bought a prepaid debit card, signed up for membership. Easy.

 

 

 

Now, it doesn't work. I know it's activated (that's what the card websdite says) but it keeps telling me:

 

 

 

There was a problem taking payment from your card. The specific response was: The transaction was declined by your card issuer.

I'm not sure there's much we can do about that. :-k I do think I remember getting a similar message the time I accidentally tried to use an expired credit card though. My advice is to contact the card issuer, and ask them to help with the problem.

Check the balance on it, there must be a website listed on the card, if theres no balance then the store didn't activate it, so you should try to bring it back show them it hasn't been activated and the receipt. Then demand for a new card, or the other one acivated and get it confirmed in the store so you don't have to come back.

Well, the website confirms a $25 balance, so the issue's not there.

I had the same problem when I tried to pay through debit card(not prepaid). I inquired with the bank & they had little clue what was happening. So I applied for credit card with the bank & the credit card seemed to work.

 

 

 

It's weird how it worked for you before & it's not working now. For me it didn't work from the first time.

 

 

 

Probably try waiting a few days & then try to subscribe or inquire from where you bought the card. If this doesn't work, maybe look for other feasible options to pay through. Tricky situation to be in. :|

I called the number; they said that it was activated and should be working.

Check if they allow subscriptions. That might be what is stopping it.

Wat kind of prepaid card did u get? If u got visa all-access, it might be cuz ur balance isn't all ther. Try other things, like pay by cash. Use google checkout fromt he pay by cash option. Google checkout accepts almost any card.

Yeah, I decided to use PayPal. Only 3 months instead or 5, but it'll actually work.
