Name and Shame the Auto Buyers - dont buy

Featured Replies

Please dont move this one to the usual place

I'm getting sick to death of going to magic shop to find some low level moron buying all the Deaths, bloods etc etc.

Always a low lvl obviously auto buying moron.

Jagex really needs some anti cheats installed, it not hard to implement.

My idea which im sure will be the usual reply e.g - (your not aloud to name players etc etc)

Why not name them here in a name and shame section since they are breaking rule 7 - using third party programs.

Jagex are handing out rules but not abiding by them, yes ive reported them endless time and the usual - nothing happens.

Your forum will not be doing anything wrong except pointing out the players that ruin everyone elses game play.

Gorak Chronicles Ended, thinking of something new for next week

Naming names is against the tip.it rules and seriously what would it help? Making a new character takes few minutes, so having names of the buyers on some list doesn't help anything. You also seem to forget that there's still so much demand for runes that few tipiters can't do anything to stop it.

True that they can get another account but they wont be doing it in P2P if they keep getting banned. they wont want to waste money all the time buying new memberships.

Jagex could easily put a cheat detector in place which would auto ban for life, that should stop half the idiots.

but then they wont since its money for them!!!

what purpose does a life ban do? Life banning an account? make another one. Life banning IP? Change your IP.

Simple, banning outright does more harm than good because you will probably accidentally ban a fair player while having little effect on macro'ers

Do you even have p2p? As long as it helps them to make the cash, they will pay new autoing accounts to p2p. Most of the accounts they pay for members are there to get banned, but after it has earnt more cash than has been put on the p2p cost.

Jagex already has many antiauto things (things we can see and things we can't), but everytime they add something, the bot creators make a way to get across it. I'd also like to see them a way to "ban them for life": they can ban accounts and ip's, but accounts can be createdm ip's changed and proxies used.

Well you would be surprised what a difference it can make banning ip's people have static ip's which means they are buggered if banned and it can take a while to obtain a new one.

I know all about this since i used to do this stuff with a company and yes it came down to money matter most of the time.

It would take me around 2 mins to get my ip changed by my isp (that includes the time used in waiting line for the call) or around 1min to set up a proxy to avoid these ip bans. Even if they banned every ISP from a certain country, those people would find a way to get into the game. It wouldn't even take a lot of googling.

Whether you think it's right or wrong to do so, the fact of the matter is that naming players in a negative light is not permitting on the Tip.it forums because those players are not here to defend themselves.
