Black nails are used to make brutal arrows that are used to kill Zogre's.

edit: just had a brainwave. I have solved the mystery. Black armour is actually..just...*wait for it* COAL! :-k

 

 

 

Maybe soon, you can put in a coal plate into a furnace with rune ore and get 1/8 of a rune plate =D> :thumbsup:

One of the ways to get Black Nails is from the Ogre coffins that you open with an Ogre key. You're better off making steel nails or mithril nails instead of accumulating black nails since you only get about 7 to 10 black nails after opening about 5 to 7 Ogre coffins.
