  1. So I was last members about 4 months ago, and I decided to sign up again except I'm having some trouble with Paypal. I'm from Canada (if that is relevant to anything). I usually sign up using Paypal, so I tried doing that again, except it tells me "I am not a verified member of Paypal". Anyone know what this means? Why do I have to be a verified member? I do have a Paypal account (same one i used to upgrade to members countless times), so what's going on? Any help wud be appreciated
  2. You have a lot of money to invest. I suggest downloading LeetChecker first. It is a tool that will let you check GE prices without having to go to the GE. I think there is a link to it in the General Discussion Forum. So Download that and search up items. The cool thing about Leetchecker is that it will give u the trend of the price over the course of 7 or 30 days, so you will be able to see if the item has been going up in price or plummeting downwards. Knowing these, try investing a bit into items and selling them when they go higher.
  3. I personally prefer hillgiants. I trained on them when i was at your level and now im about 65-65-54. They give decent exp and you shouldnt take too many hits cause they are lvl 28. Theres a bunch of them near the observatory. They drop bigbones and limpwurt roots, which sell for quite a bit.
  4. Sorry guys, my price range is max 1mil to invest rite now (heheh, yeah its a little low). By the way, thanks a lot for the Air Rune idea. I just wasnt sure that they would sell at high.
  5. Hey guys, Before the GE was set up, I used to spend a lot of time merchanting and it was loads of fun. But I thought the GE killed merchanting (and I know it did unless you have loads of money). However, I was hoping some of you guys would provide me with some advice as to how to start up merchanting again. Basically, I can buy something but how do i guarantee that I sell it for more? What are some decent items to start merchanting with? How much do you think I should invest? Also, I was in members and will go back soon but am currently F2P. If you guys have any ideas on stuff i can merchant in F2P, that will be great. If not, P2P items work too :) Thanks ppl!
  6. The mining guild is good for mith. Most people mine coal and mith from there, and use superheat to turn them into mith bars, which sell for about 1.3k. Not sure about the others.
  7. i must confess that i havent tried these new techniques, but ive heard that barehand fishing is really slow..so no. If that helps..
  8. chances are he doesn't have a donkey... #-o HAHAHA  You guys crack me up! Anyway, good luck and i would join u except my hunter is 27 :ohnoes: but yeah..how many hunter potions will that come to?
  9. Hey all, i just want to know how i can improve my combat stats in order to become a viable staker. My stats are: cbt: 69 atk: 61 str: 59 def: 47 mage: 56 range: 20  prayer: 36 So what should I train and what should I hold back on? Also, what are some some worthwhile items to get? I have about 1 million to spend now but my non-combat stats are decent so I can make money (with fletch/high-alch and nat crafting) Currently Im using Dds and full rune. What other weapon/armour would aid me? Thanks!
  10. itll show up on the bill as "runescape membership fee" or something i think. if you're trying to hide it, i dont think itll work. :notalk: lol, if it did, i may have used it before. O:)
  11. actually i rather liked this guide. Maybe its because im a newcomer and i have never dueled before. I didnt know you could do a fun duel, nor did i know about obstacles, no movement, etc. Thanks for sharing all the info. Good pics too 8.5/10! =D>
  12. Thanks for the info! I hadnt heard of that method in much detail before but you summed it up rather nicely. Ill try to follow it. Appreciate the detailed post.
  13. Hey all, I know there was a really good herblore guide here but i just cant seem to find it. Anyway, My herblore is 23 now (yeah, its bad) and im wondering how to get it up. Basically i was considering getting swamp tar from the swamps, selling them, and using the money to get other materials which i need to make potions. It seems to me like this way, i wont lose too much money. Is this method good? What would you suggest? Should I work with tar or should i sell it? Also, does 15 swamp tar + marrentil = 15 marrentil tar with 40 exp, or is it 40 exp PER tar that i use? Thanks, awaiting reply
  14. What is your mage and runecrafting presently?
  15. hes f2p guys. Stronghold of Security, any monster level 30 or below is probably good. Try not to go below level 20 monsters.
  16. Not sure. I made it once at around 55% and i got 90 deaths, a bunch of minds (couple hundreds) and about 1k iron arrows =D>
  17. Well I have 71 Fletching and what I normally do is get yew logs for 300 each, cut them, string them and sell them back for 580-600 each. If you buy the Bowstring and the log, this comes to a profit of about 100-140 per log. If you buy flax and the log, this comes to a profit of 200-240 per log. And if you pick the flax, and buy the log, u profit 300 roughly per log. Im not sure if this is the fastest way. You can also try buying yew long (u) and simply stringing them. I think yew longs (u) sell for around 300 so this will be faster.
  18. Yeah, I agree. If your mining is above 41, get a rune pick and mine iron, sell for 100each on forums. You can also try fishing lobbies and cooking them for 250each. What are your best skills?
  19. Wow, thanks for all the great suggestions guys! I may buy some more body runes to help me out with curse, and use up the minds too. Great ideas, appreciate it! =D> Please close mods!
  20. I suggest doing airs and minds until 30s, and then buying around 40 dueling rings and doing fires until 44. This took me maybe 2 weeks
  21. That would be world 16, and it is usually the crafter paying 25 noted ess and 2k for 25 unnoted ess
