where should i range?

 

i am 20 defence and 30 range.

 

i just started 3 days ago.

 

i have 200 iron arrows 291 mith. will shortbow.

 

i have 134k, how many arrows for that?

 

and should i keep persuing ranging, or raise my woodcut and fletching, so i can make my own stuff?

train at the ghost down the manhole in varrock, minotaursin the stronghold, or monks.

If you range the minotaurs in the first level of the SOS, you should get iron arrows as drops so you can stay down there longer.

You can use Tip It's guide to range traiing to select places.

 

 

 

A good place is the first or second level in the Stronghold of Security

 

under the Barbarian village.

 

The minotaurs drop a lot of arrows. That makes them nice for training.

 

 

 

Also, pick up your arrows if you can.

 

You can get about 4 times as many shots out of them that way.

Range at minuators till 50. By then, you will have quite a few iron arrows. Buy as many more as you can afford, along with a few k body, earth, and water runes. Go to karmaja dungen and range the lessers there, casting curse on them at first so that all your arrows are in the drop pile. If you don't mind gaining a few defense levels, do dragon slayer so you can use the much less populated lessers on Crandor. You can buy around 6-7k iron arrows with the cash you have, depending on how cheap you are able to get them.

not sure where to range in p2p, but i wouldnt suggest makin ur own arrows, for example a normal log costs 100 gp in bulks, might as well just sell and buy some bronze arrows, basically the supplies dont make the arrows worth bein made usually

 

-btw dont try buyin arrows in f2p, just about every range store has a autoer there buyin all the bronze, sometimes iron arrows
