pvp and f2p???

Yes, mixed terms, though the only place you can PvP in F2P is the wilderness.

F2P - or Free player / non-member = the "small" version of runescape

P2P - or Pay to play / member = the "full" version.

PvP - Player versus player

- in F2P, this means one thing only, the wilderness, while the level of wilderness determine the unalterable rules of combat.

1-20: Relatively close matched combat, teleport escape possible (no teleblock in F2P), running to safety may be possible.

21-48: Increasing level allows greater "out of class" combat, and teleport escape not possible, other than by running to level 20

Additionally, multicombat areas enable huge wars or devastating ambushes.

A major form of P2P PvP is duelling, in some respects similar to a one on one wilderness battle, but with set rules and stakes.

An abbreviation used more often in other games, is:

PvE or PvM - Player versus Environment or Player versus Monster - generally for combat or dangerous encounters with anything that is not another player.

PvP = Player vs. Player

F2P = Free to play

P2P = Pay to play

There's also the term "ganking"

That refers to pvps "gang killing" but it is also used to refer

to many forms of "unfair" or "annoying" pvp combat.

In RS it can refer to killing players in the wilderness

that are not there for pvp combat.

(Runite/Addy/Mith/Coal ore mining, cosmic spawns, nature spawns,

sapphire spawn, chaos spawn, big bones gathering, muddy key,

plank gathering, greater hunting, treasure trail, etc)

Hope this helps

ya what they said, except i never heard of pvp before

The only place to pvp in f2p is in the wildy. For members there's the dueling arena and cw for example.
