As far as vambs, chaps, body... they are equal in attack, but 3rd age has better defence. The 3rd age coif is the best headgear for attack bonus though.

unless your stinking rich id go with the d hide, i think that 3rd age is stupid for its price, dragon does just as effective and costs at least 1/10 the price of 3rd.

Well 3a hides has better mage defence bonus than Black Hides (not as good as karils AFAIK), other than requiring 5 less ranged levels to wear and such.

 

 

 

And yes, the coif is best ranged atk bonus out there, but only better than robin by 1 and archer helm by 3
