raising my woodcutting lvl

Featured Replies

is it faster 2 raise my woodcutting lvl by cutting yews or continue cutting maples and gettting more maples than i can use in a short amount of time?

Actually, I believe that for sheer speed... willows are the fastest method. There's a good spot just outside the Barbarian Outpost (where you play Barbarian assault).

For profit and tolerable experience, i'd probably say yews.

Looking at your stats, actually TRY to get your woodcut on the highscores.

Willows are the fastest exp by far and good firmaking exp too.

Maples are good profit too, also good for firemaking.

Yews very good money, but not very good exp until about woodcut 70..CRAZY to burn for firemaking---Crazy!

I would highly recommend using willows for exp, very fast :)

If you want pure exp and don't care about making money: willows

If you want somewhat slower exp and want to make a bit of profit: maples

If you don't give a care about exp then at 65 woodcuting plus:yews

willows ftw! there are many good spots to cut them, but if you really want good xp, just go to somewhere where no one else cuts, and simply bank, or sell to a general store (rimmington is a good spot) you can also burn them for FM xp.
