Help with Mining please

Well I'm going for a goal of 65 smithing and 73 mining so I decided to mine 5626 iron and 11252 coal but I have no clue were to mine. I'm planning on smithing at port p, but I don't know of any good locations for mines, anyone know a good spot to mine iron & coal in bulk?

 

 

 

And when I do have my 5626 steel bars, what should I make?

I know that there a many coal rocks east of ardougne and a short walk to the bank south of ardougne.

 

 

 

You can mine iron at the al kharid mine which also has some coal rocks.

For coal, go to the Mining Guild of course! It's close to the bank and has a lot of coal rocks. Just try to find an unpopulated world.

For iron try the dorgeshuun mines (if you've finished lost tribe and started RFD) or yanille if you haven't.

 

 

 

For coal try the coal trucks northwest of seers or the mining guild.

You can mine iron at the mine slightly northeast of Yanille

Ok, that will get you to 65 and 73.7

 

 

 

...but I have no clue were to mine.

 

You can use the Tip It mining guide to select a place.

 

 

 

And when I do have my 5626 steel bars, what should I make?

 

Steel plate.

 

 

 

It's the fastest steel thing to make and it hi-alchs the highest among steel products. (1200)

 

You will always earn 37.5 smithing exp per bar for any steel thing that you make.
