Rune Gloves?

Featured Replies

I was just checking out the Combat Guide on the main site, and noticed that it had gloves ranging from bronze to dragon. I have never heard of these, do they exist in game?

Dont insult him for not knowing the terminology, "we" (the players) have added the bronze - dragon names to them because they appear to look like them. In actuality they are just called gloves and are purchaseable during and after the Recipe for Disaster Quest from the Culinromancer's Chest in the Lumbridge Castle Basement.

Actually, we named these gloves from bronze - barrows. Not bronze - dragon. These gloves work in such an order that they fit the names we have given them, and also range in bonuses the same way.

These gloves are from the Recipe for Disaster (RFD) quest. Each time you do one of the side-quests within the quest to help free a NPC trapped in the dining room you will get a reward, along with unlocking a new set of gloves, cooking utensil, and an increased food stock at the Culromancers Chest, which is the chest in the Lumbridge Castle basement.

I hope this little bit of information helps. If you need more information I suggest checking the Knowledge Database, Quest Guides, and Item Database. Good luck on the gloves.

Having a good stock of Tuna Potatoes is a good way to survive the final boss battles for Recipe for Disaster. They're easy to make and the raw materials aren't expensive if you grow/catch/gather everything on your own. Plus, making Tuna Potatoes give some very decent Cooking exp.
