June 3, 200719 yr Tipit IRC is probably down. Hasn't been down for more than a day (due to hardware failure at the ISP) since it was set up. It's more than likely a firewall blocking the ports used by IRC. If you are on a home connection, make sure traffic on port 6667 is not being blocked. If you are trying to connect from a school or work computer, there isn't much that can be done about it.
