Making your own prayer potions is not really that good of an option, as mentioned you forgo the sale of the herbs. What would be better is to sell the ranarrs and buy more prayer potions (ranarrs are worth more) if you only want prayer potions. If you want herblore xp, sell the ranarrs, and make more efficient potions/clean herbs as mentioned above. It is NOT "free xp", by making the prayer pots you still are paying (just not directly) for your xp and it is decidedly suboptimal

You no longer profit chinning nechs :\ rune boots went down the toilet and you'd need some insane herb seed drops to cover it because they also dropped. It is still relatively viable as the loss is not too heinous (-200k or so a trip where a trip is about 1k chins), and it is about 160k range xp an hour... slower than other chin spots because you are looting more and need to use EE every once in awhile for some health (I did this for nech tasks for a looonnnng time, however no longer because it is no longer profitable and melee is sadly faster)

I don't know if it is still viable, but cannoning wallaski's (there is a room with 5 or 6 along path to DK's) gets decent charms (primarily blues and crims, equivalent of 100 crims per hour in terms of xp), and is 80-100k range xp per hour and was profitable a few months ago. The prices of the bone pieces that they drop don't seem to have dropped that much and the skeletal gloves and boots have gone up. Essentially you bring cannon, 3k balls, few range potions, 2 tortoises (in your case) 10ish prayer pots, rune thrownaxe, and a bit of food for getting there. Wear pretty much rune crossbow with broad bolts + zam book, fury if you have, then arma/karil/blk d hide archers/arma helm. Set up cannon somewhere in the middle of the room, pray mage, and just rip em. When I did it I was making 100-200k per 3k cannon balls I used and getting equivalent of 100 crims an hour at like 90 range (and about 80k range xp an hour). Tortoise there is to help you collect bone pieces and pieces of skeletal armor which is what will make you your money back (or profit). Again prices have fluctuated a bit since I did it, but I believe it is still viable and would be minimal loss to profit overall.

I could make 6 or 7 times the cash just merching or if I was on my main skilling or killing monsters, but that got boring, there was no risk, and no challenge. right click on a link before you condemn it as a keylogger... check properties and look at the type of file, if you can fit a keylogger into a stream or a .wmv well more power to you

You have got to be [bleep]ing kidding me, Pking was my #1 moneymaker I made over 15m PROFIT from it, I did not kill one [bleep]ing skiller other than drag trainers with obby capes. 95% of that was one on one fights in edgeville. It is simple, I just rarely lose. Pking was my moneymaker. I didn't even fight one itemers, it is not worth killing someone for an amulet, never was, never will be. This update got rid of the only reason I played runescape anymore, most of my friends quit with dueling, jagex has RAPED the free market economy, and now is trying their damndest to ruin pvp.
