Alright, so between slayer and MTK, my stack of ranarrs is building. Question is, should I sell them? Or should I make pray pots out of them so I dont have to buy my own in the future?

Make 'em. It will save you money, and get you some cheap, if not profitable, herblore xp. :)

Im not really looking to train herblore all that much, the only level I really want in herb right now is 57, and thats not a rush.

Sell them. Clean them first if you like.

Clean them first so they sell easier and (perhaps) higher, then throw them in the GE.

The best thing to do is get as much cash from your herbs as you can until you plan on training herblore. Once you want herblore, make fast pots, assuming you have a decent income. Herblore is expensive, but if you train it efficiently, you should have a relatively small loss, unless you make 190m worth of untradable pots like i did :S The plus side of that is i never need pots again.

Personally id make my own Prayer potions, just because the market seems to flux in that area a lot, and if you dont drink them in the time that they rise up, sell it for a better profit then you would if you sold asap.

 

If their is one thing i learned from this game, dont sell right away, wait for the market to upturn, and sell 2 days after it rises.

Making your own prayer potions is not really that good of an option, as mentioned you forgo the sale of the herbs. What would be better is to sell the ranarrs and buy more prayer potions (ranarrs are worth more) if you only want prayer potions. If you want herblore xp, sell the ranarrs, and make more efficient potions/clean herbs as mentioned above. It is NOT "free xp", by making the prayer pots you still are paying (just not directly) for your xp and it is decidedly suboptimal

At your level, you'll get a fair number of herby levels (depends of course on the size of your ranarr collection). I know personally, I would take the minimal loss of 'potential profit' in exchange for herby levels which tend to be quite costly. Plus, you'll have a nice stock of P pots which (in my case) tend to disappear quickly forcing more and more trips to the GE.

Ever since I couldn't buy pray pots because of merch clans I make ppots out of all my ranarrs and sell extra; the rational thing would be to sell the ranarrs after you clean them but I just have a personal preference.
