MTK Investing Advice needed

Can anyone point me to a guide that will show me how to properly invest MTK resources/give me advice?

I have 1.7m to invest and assume I have done both quests with the ability to get to 100% every day.

My friend advises 100% maple, 50% herbs.

Another suggests 100% herbs, 50% maple.

Another suggest 50 teak, 100 herbs.

I'd like to get herbs if I can for herblore, and seeds would be nice for farming.

I'd like to break even with cash as well.

Well, if you want Herb Seeds, you need to go Flax (herb seeds are pretty rare on Herbs, strange enough). The most (safe) money is in Coal, but if you are lucky with buyers, Flax gives most money.

I'd say 5 Herbs, 10 Coal. You'll even get a profit.

Hmm.. I have to say, so far teaks have been a pretty good profit.

100% maples and 50% flax.

maples sell for 100 ea in you are patient enough, spin flax into BS for 175-200 ea or sell it for 100 ea. Herb and tree seeds are extras!

But I keep most of it. I make BS -> fletching yew longs + high-alch is nice money + xp. Sell maples (or easy/fast FM exp) and boost farming with all tree and fruit tree seeds you get. Herb seeds from flax are few and often not all that, but hey, all little chunks of xp add up in the long way!

The guide you were after

Not so much of a guide, but more of a caculator. It tells you what profits (returns) you'll get if you put a certain amount of cash in the coffers/how many workers you have/and for how long.
