June 10, 200719 yr Well they cut 10% Faster than a rune axe which is only really noticeable on yews. If you're in it for exp use one, if in it for money use rune.
June 10, 200719 yr the prices for them are relatively stable, so use it, then sell it when you are done. The exp difference is well worth it.
June 11, 200719 yr I tried a dragon wc axe, but it made me so tense... I was always panicking that that flying axe head was mine. Life is so stress free with a rune wc axe. June 11, 200719 yr Worth it if a) you have a the money to invest and B) if you do lots of woodcutting and not just little bits. Its speed is more noticable on yews, as stated above, for some reason. Its not that expensive and it will pay for itself even if you cut willows to 99. I've heard people tell me that it is worth it and others have told me otherwise, so I'll probably get one sooner or later. If you have very good combat stats, you could try to dk for one :D
