tttia
I was sitting around the other night wanting to practice painting, but not wanting to work too hard thinking of what to paint. I wound up painting my headset mic. Yeah, nothing that will win any awards, but I found it tough to get the smooth plastic feel, and all the angles and curves. I am used to doing organic stuff with more flexibility I never quite finished it up, but it gave me a good mental workout. So I figured I would challenge you all a bit. Find something in your house that is hard to draw, paint, whatever and go to it. Then post a photo if you feel like it so we can try too. Post your results just for fun. Don't get so caught up in making rs cash that you don't challenge yourself! You can also post stock images that are challenging and see who can get the closest. A little practice everyday doesn't hurt :) If I get around to it I will redo my drawing lessons from the old scape board and add some new resources I found....including a free program for figure drawing reference! (and yes I know it is fuzzy :) Was still doing soft brushes then)

Witty-Fool
I always thought that it was weird to have few artists who actually draw in this community. I'm glad you're encouraging it again, Tttia. Nice headphones. I'll see what I can upload. ~witty
Peter
Pardon the poor quality, but it doesn't matter when you're brushing much. I'm still working on mine, 40 minutes so far and I'm nowhere near done, but it's good fun anyway. I'd like to see others work on this too, so I'm not the only one. Oh, and if anyone's wondering, those are paperwhite flowers on the kitchen counter. Feel free to use it.
