KerianYurva3
Hello Tip.It! This is my first post, and I feel sorta guilty for my first being an advice question, but it's been bothering me for a while. I am currently runecrafting 33, I have enough pure essence for level 35 runecrafting and am currently making body runes. After looking at the map I noticed that at 35 chaos runes are rather close to Edgeville as well. Should I do deaths, continue bodies, or something new at 35? Thanks for any responses, hope I got the question through.
Tired_souls
at your lvl go to the W16 air company. your gonna lose cash but you will lvl fast. you need 160k (80 trades) and 2k noted ess go to world 16 say open 2k + ess when a runner gives u 25 un noted ess u give them 2k and ess and u just craft airs. do that till lvl 44 when your member you can make nats just to let ya know from lvl 35 up all the runes are made on P2P worlds and also using Pure Ess which u need lvl 30 to mine it. transcript80
Save the pure essence to make either chaos or nature runes later on. Until you get lvl 35 (or 44 for natures), craft 1: air runes on W16 airs (fast but it's gonna cost ya!) 2: fires using duel rings: fast 3: bodies: best xp/ess, you could walk to the altar and glory back to edgeville. For methods 1-3, use NORMAL essence, since it's 1/3 of the price compared to pure essence. When you get the level for chaos, (and you would like to craft them) use the abyss (mini quest required, give like 1000xp as well) and remember to get the puches from the abyssal mage for faster rc xp. Other data was removed when acoount got hacked...
Doomster
Doing Chaos without the Abyss would avoid skulling, but the alternative route has other problems, like a 4 level maze. (Tip.it map) The "What lies below" quest gives you a safer route, with a shortcut from the statue near the Earth Altar to level 3 of the maze, but the Abyss is still going to be faster. Cosmics would be another possibility, useful in the Enchantment section of MTA.
KerianYurva3
Hey, thanks for the responses! I am a member, and have done the abyss quest and mine all my own pure essence. I didn't know there was a long maze involved with chaos runes and I will just stick with bodies for a while, (don't really want to spend money on the air trading thing). I'm cheap. But thank you for all again!
Celestrana
Hey, thanks for the responses! I am a member, and have done the abyss quest and mine all my own pure essence. I didn't know there was a long maze involved with chaos runes and I will just stick with bodies for a while, (don't really want to spend money on the air trading thing). I'm cheap. But thank you for all again! If you're willing to train your farming until you can grow a willow tree, I have something else you can try. 1. Do the quest "Enlightened Journey". The puzzles in the quest isn't too difficult once you figure out how to fly the hot air balloon. Refer to Tip.it's quest guide for more info. 2. Unlock the hot air balloon routes for Varrok and Castle Wars. After the quest, you'll have Taverly unlocked and ready for use. 3. Do the quest "What Lies Below". Again, refer to Tip.it's quest guide. 4. Make or buy a few Rings of Dueling. You'll be using them to teleport to Castle Wars. 5. Now, starting at Castle Wars, have the following things with you: Chaos tiara/talismen, your highest woodcutting axe type, a Ring of Dueling, all the pure essence you can hold, and 1 free inventory spot (must have!) 6. Run outside Castle Wars to the hot air balloon. Chop a regular log and fly to Taverly. Run south a little and chop a willow log and fly to Varrok. Run south to the Saradomin statue and go to the Chaos portal. Make your Chaos runes. Use your Ring of Dueling and return to Castle Wars to restock on pure essence. 7. Repeat steps #5 and #6. Good luck. Knowledge is Power; a Tip.it guide answers many commonly asked questions.~Celestrana: Making of a Hero ~ (Visit my blog, today!) Doomster
Not member (yet, but soon, going for some decent stats and then I'll get the odd month when it's worth it). As I understand it, using the Abyss avoids the chaos maze, so if you care to run the gauntlet of the runecrafter Pkers, worth a shot. Chaos are an adequate combat (better if you have chaos gauntlets) or trade rune, especially if deaths are a long, long way away.
