tired_emu
I'm currently level 36 farming and wish to get to 49 (may as well make it 50) farming for a quest. I haven't done any farming since it came out pretty much. I was wondering what would be the best method to raise my level to 50? Thanks 8-)
Timmis400
My method was farm at the Catherbury. I fished while I waited for my stuff to grow. Checked my plants after every load of fish I caught. I planted my trees at night, then went to bed and carried on my day and come to rs expecting my trees to be grown. I also tried to plant a full atollment before I went to bed every night. At a lower level I planted all the seeds I could get, I did not stick to one type of plant to grow, I grew em all. It may not be a good method or anything, but it is how I got my farming up. ~HOORAY FOR BEING MUTED!~
thestig0
I would say chain farming is the best, going to Catherby, Ardougne, Port Phatysmas and Faldor planting herb seeds, flower seeds and allotment seeds as you go and if you have any tree or fruit tree seeds, plant them aswell. Then use the waiting time alching, fletching or anything you want. My legions of fans:
IShaynehI
Chain Farming, it will require some laws, and if you want to make a bit of cash while farming i recommend you putting ranarr seeds down with super compost at Ardougne and Catherby, nowhere else and just watch one for 5 minn then hop to the other. A good way to keep yourself busy is to alch by your plants, but remember, plant all the other seeds too
TeeBeaun
Trees, always use regular or fruit trees. Find out from tip it what you need to pay the farmers to look after them and then pay the farmers so that you can log off and come back later to check them. transcript80
Trees are good xp. Pay farmers! Plant every alotment patch once a day, when you return next day (or 2 hours later if you playe more) harvest and plant again. For guaranteed xp, pay farmers, but don't bother on getting irky things that are not rapidly available. Potatoes (for tune potatoes) are nice but slow exp, because seeds are dirt common and the price is only 2 buckets of compost. Farming herbs can be profitable as well, especially ranarr. Never stand near a patch waiting, it's a waste of time. Plant, do something else for (X) time and do something else. Other data was removed when acoount got hacked... teatonev
Always use supercompost (pick pineapples in Brimhaven or buy from Charter Traders). Keep everything you grow. You can use this produce to pay farmers to watch your next crop. Chain Farming - not just allotments you can work in fruit trees, bushes, and hops patches too. Moss giants are my best seed droppers. Otherwise thieve Master Farmers or hunt Nature imps (good tree seed droppers - I got six in an hour and a half from them when they first came out).
