June 18, 200719 yr I havn't known this guy long, but I already think that he may have bought his account. He is a lvl 93 and has 145 qp. Several things I noticed which were very suspicous, were: He thought jellies dropped whips (he around 60 slayer by the way.) He's never heard of the quest rfd or barrows gloves and he has 145 qp. He lost most of his stuff in a simple scam. There are others but I won't go on. It jus seems as though he's new to runescape and yet lvl 93, with very good skill stats. What should I do should I report him? Whips: 3 Dragon Boots: 15 My 99's: Attack & Cooking Youtube Channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/Goldenjkered
June 18, 200719 yr Theres not really much unless you can get him to say it in game. You can send a message to customer support about it but odds are they can't do much without an in game report.

Yeah, sending a message into customer support will be a good idea. Jagex will probably check the IP logs of that account, and if the locations vary, they'll probably take action. < | Runehead | Learning Java Programming, Please PM Me Tips | Signature by Loaf2000 | >

Gee, I hope they won't check mine and think I bought my account, I use different computers to play Runescape all the time! (FYI I'm an honest player) Pretty much what Dragon said.Thread terminated.I guess that means I'm the thread Terminator? No Tip.Iters were harmed in the making of this post.
June 19, 200719 yr He thought jellies dropped whips (he around 60 slayer by the way.) Nothing much wrong with this.. unless he said he got a whip from them. He's never heard of the quest rfd or barrows gloves and he has 145 qp. Its totally possible.. i tried to do many trades at the chest in lumbridge and many high lvls go 'huh, a bank here?' He lost most of his stuff in a simple scam. If he's easily scammed, it wont matter if he's a lvl3 or lvl90. though, yes, you'll expect him to learn frm experience. best way is for you to check up on his stats and ask him qns appropriately. eg. if he has high fletching, ask him abt prices of yewlongs and stuff. high herblore, ask abt herb/pot prices and the way to break even. high con, ask him where his house is. lvl75 con, ask him to let you use his gilded altar. rc, ask him on tips for abyss.
June 19, 200719 yr If he has such high skill lvls, why not ask him for advice on how to get those stats? ;)
June 19, 200719 yr Yeah, asking him about his skills would be a good way to check if he knows about the game or not. If he has the high skills and knows nothing about the high-level items, then it's probably safe to assume that he did buy the account..
