It doesn't it look like it. It sounds as if it were the first generation of the core architecture, the Core Duo. Either way the Core Duo is still a very good processor but not as good as the Core 2 Duo.

 

 

 

Also don't expect it to be a gaming laptop but it will be fine for light gaming and of course, it will run Runescape fine that was stated above.

Unfotunately, the Core duo 2 was too much money to have it stay under my budget...=\

 

 

 

 

 

Also, i have another question...What is good to have on a start-up programs?

It looks good for a basic laptop. It'll play some older games well and runescape/school related stuff.
