June 25, 200719 yr Im currently on my way to getting 70 mining ( im 63 now ) and i was just wondering, since 60 mining i have been mining iron and have about 2k iron ore now, would it be quicker to mine coal? So basically, which will get me to 70 faster, coal or iron?
June 25, 200719 yr Iron will get you there a lot quicker. Just drop the iron ore when you get a full inventory (power mine). June 25, 200719 yr I'm lvl 60 mining now and i'm mining coal and sometimes mith in the mining guild i think thats pretty quick if u get there when theres less ppl in there. but i keep my ore and take it to the bank right next to it, i find it pretty quick

Retired from runescape. I will be on every now and then though. :)
June 25, 200719 yr Iron for your level, as you get higher you really want to look into getting lunar magic and granite mining.
June 25, 200719 yr yeah iron is way faster, it respawns lightning fast and you can get it 1-hit. coal and above have longer respawn times and take longer to mine, but are worth more. if you don't care about keeping what you mine, iron all the way. I personally plan on actually making stuff with what I mine. that way I can level 2 or more skills without having to spend ridiculous amounts of money. personal preference though :D

Yea i realized that after i wrote and re-read the post. I used that approach when i was turning lvl 55 mining cuz i wanted to mine mith really bad lol
