Need some gold crafting advice

okay so i have about 100k gold bars from my trek to 99 smithing (almost 98 currently) and im trying to figure out what i should be doing with them. Now admitidly i paid a large amount for them so im hopping to make about 500gp per bar back.

 

 

 

Selling the bars directly is out of the question because most peopel will only pay 200 ea even in this mass bulk. So i was thinking i could use them in crafting using gems. Saphs emeralds rubies and diamonds. im not sure which ones i should make. basicly i just want the end result to sell for the gem price +600gp at least.

 

 

 

Any and all help/advice would be greatly apreciated

Ok I have no idea if this could work well but this just popped into my mind, try selling the bars in the Tz-haar (sp?) city for tokkuls using the karamja gloves for better price and see if you can get a nice price.

 

 

 

Or you could try at the charter boat with the gloves, I doubt it but maybe they would give more than 200 each

i dont really think you can get the money ur looking for. with 100k gold bars, u should be able to get alot of money back. just make them into ammys or rings. idk if anyone will buy them but u might have to enchant them before you sell to get more buyers. it will take a really long time for you to sell them all though. good luck and best wishes to you :thumbsup: :

Make lots of dueling rings, or sell them in the market place on the RSOF.

yeah, I say open a thread on RSOF selling gold bars every time you come online. or the tokkul idea, get as much as you can, buy onyx, sell, profit. too bad most people want gold ore, not bars...

thats what i was talking about with the 200, on the RSOF gold bars(even in bulk) are going for like 150 to 190 ea which is way too low.

 

 

 

If it takes more time to sell rings etc im fine with that since ill also be getting the crafting exp. I can always just sell them on forums if they have a decent average price.

 

 

 

I was thinking making rings of recoil for saphs

 

rings of duel for emerald

 

ring of forge for ruby

 

 

 

i dont know what i would do with diamonds, dstones out of question cuz of high price and no point in locking up that much cash in a few items. any other ideas?

Sapphires ->Rings of recoils and games necklaces.

 

Emeralds ->Rings of Dueling, if you rc a bit them some combination necklaces.

 

Rubys -> Strength ammys (use lunar magic to string them) and rings of forging

 

Diamonds ->Power ammys and rings of life

 

Dragons Stones -> Glorys all the way, if you can make them offer your crafting skills on the ROF and tell them you don't needed gold bars.

You make sure you've got enough materials to make/enchant all

 

rings/ammies (balls of wool, runes, moulds, gems, etc.) and make some kind

 

of store.

 

 

 

You make a list of the things you're making and what they cost

 

(discount if people buy in bulk) and when people place and order,

 

you just try to finish ASAP.

actually that would involve getting 100k of each gem to pull that off and actually i would rather just make 100k ring of recoil insted of dealing with all of that lol :\

 

 

 

store idea isnt bad thou, but they will still only want to pay like 200 per gold bar
