Links Stripped in Quotes -Solve'ed

Recommended Posts

Usually if you quote just the link and the link is right next to the quote tags, it messes up. Just put a space between the quote tags and the link and it should be fine

Noo, don't edit the content out - us curious folk want to know what the problem was. :P

The problem is already solved :P. Was something with quoting a link.

Some people dream of success, while others make it happen.

Thanks. Please don't edit out your problem posts if you are posting here. Even if you DO solve it, that doesn't mean others can't learn from your posts later on if they have a similar problem (even if it is just a user error, not technical).

That limits me to: 1440 posts a day! Noooo!

Has it gotten longer? I thought it used to be like, 20 or something?

As far as I know, it's always been 60 seconds (which I admit is rather annoying when I'm trying to make two posts in adjacent topics that only require 2 sentence responses). My personal opinion is that it should be 30 seconds, however it's not my job to decide what it should be at and I respect Sith's and the rest of the Administrator team's decision for the flood limit.

Agreed. I find this most annoying in H&A.

I understand the wish for a shorter flood limit, but we daily have users signing up just to spam adverts/bad links/profanities/viruses/other. The flood limit makes it possible for the Moderators to keep up with the spammers while contacting Admins for immediate bans.

Hope you understand this, we have the flood limit to protect our users and forums against spam attacks.

You're accusing me of bigotry, how ironic. It's a nice attempt at argument, but your responses are facile and asinine, if not diatribe. Who's arrogant now?
