I thought that when you quoted a link, the URL BBCode was stripped out, as I had seen before, but, read Tripsis' post for an answer. As far as I know, it's always been 60 seconds (which I admit is rather annoying when I'm trying to make two posts in adjacent topics that only require 2 sentence responses). Laikrob Posted June 27, 2007 Share Posted June 27, 2007 I understand the wish for a shorter flood limit, but we daily have users signing up just to spam adverts/bad links/profanities/viruses/other. The flood limit makes it possible for the Moderators to keep up with the spammers while contacting Admins for immediate bans. Hope you understand this, we have the flood limit to protect our users and forums against spam attacks. Laikrob, Tip.It Moderator You're accusing me of bigotry, how ironic.
