BloodArgon Posted June 27, 2007 Share Posted June 27, 2007 Iv heard that slayer staff isnt effected by magic bonus... Its magic, so shouldnt it? I also splashed with rune 3 times in a row on it, yet see others with it hitting fair with barrows and rune boots and such. At a magic of 73, is this normal for me, do I need higher, or what should I do? I currently use 2 prayer pots per trip, and then I bank, I hear others use 1 ppot PER run, having 3 trips in them. I currently use initiate helm, legs, and mystic top...Ill be upgrading to ahrims top and veracs skirt, unless I can find a better way... (I have a LOW budget, around 700k or so at the moment, if I can find a cheap way to use few pots, I can sell some and get some better gear.) - Just In I tried with full rune, and I hit a few good ones, but, I got pounded with a 17 and a 20 almost right after each other ... High defence make me use max 2 dose of p pot (and I use p pot only if DHaroks or Kharyl is in tunel) #3001 to get 99 slayer on 10. 01. 2009. Hell-Raven Posted June 27, 2007 Share Posted June 27, 2007 When I barrow I use Full rune with defender. No prayer potions at ALL. (I don't even bring one in case something happen, because nothing happen.) With Crystal bow (for Ahrim) with full karil/black hide, and whip. 1 Super attack 1 Super Strenght, Normal defense pot. Fill rest with Spade and monkfish/Sharks. I bank every trip, but It's pretty easy and safe. I'm 82 defense and 87 hitpoints if that can help.
