June 29, 200719 yr Take a lot of food, super pots, ring of life, 1-click teleport. I DDS'ed him 4 times, just chased him around. I think I used protect from mage (?) prayer, but still got hit a lot by the furniture of the mine, so bring good food. If you can hit him in time he's not that hard, but make sure you safe eat because the hits from the mine furniture tend to pile up. Of course, feel free to bail out, he's not worth dying on! Yes he is a pain! I had to try 3 times. After the first time I nearly died, and left the quest for 3 months. Other data was removed when acoount got hacked...
June 29, 200719 yr Kill Treus Dayth with your best Magic spell; I recommend Fire Blast to kill him quickly or Fire Bolt with Chaos Gauntlets. Any protection prayer is useless so don't bother. Bring your best food -- at least monkfish and as much as you can carry. Minimize the amount of running around that you have to do to reduce the chance of you getting hit by mine carts and mine cranes. If you plan on using prayers, use the HP-restore prayer and your best Magic boost prayer. If you're lucky you can kill Treus before your food runs out. Keep your health reasonably high; eat when your health drops to almost 1 food unit since in the time you eat you might get hit. The mine carts are deadly! Don't walk in front of them for any reason.
