The best, but probably the technique that takes the most time, is: Filter > Extract. Choose a 5px brush, zoom in quite a lot, and the begin to draw around the part (line an outline) you want to use. Then choose the 'Bucket Tool' and click inside the area - 'OK'.

NO NO NO NO NO! Never use filter > extract.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

zoom into like 500%, take polygonal lasso tool. Cut out everything that u dont want....and then crop it down to the right size...copy and paste it into ur other picture.
