Fire Giants are pretty decent ranged xp if you can get to them. The ogres in the lathas training ground are good too but you need quests for both. Waterfall quest for fires and I think it's Regicide for the ogres. There may be better spots but they're the only ones that come to mind at the moment.

i can get to both, but i've been training on moss giants and i haven't leveled from 60-61 in an hour =\ is that normal or am i right in thinking they arent very good xp?

So if moss giants ARE bad xp for me wouldnt fire giants be worse?

thanks for a reply though =D

Fire Giants have a low defence and can be hit fairly well and have higher hit points than Moss Giants so more xp per giant. But if you do find that it's kind of a struggle to hit Fire Giants often enough to get decent xp and doing worse than you were with moss giants I would recommend the ogres.

No neccessarily ^^

FIre giants spot are especially crowded since they are so good monster to train on.

They got a LITTLE bit more def then moss giants.

So pe prepare to tag 1 spawn only..

which may not give you the best xp

Fire giants also drop many fire runes and rune scimmys

Unless you want no crowd..go to the place i train.. wilderness fire giants lair.

Moss giants on the other hand is not as crowded in isolated spots

Eg pirates cove in lunar diploymancy

Moss giants drop many seeds, different kind of seeds.. which are stackable.

If you got enought Def you may just wanna face to face ranged them

so if i were you... i would train in wildy fire giants...

if not i would go moss giants or flesh crawlers

Okay so first off you should go with fire giants until about level 74 in the Baxtorian falls cave-thing. After you get to 74 you should be able to hit fairly enough on blue dragons if you have 70 agility it with help a LOT here. Just take a tele-tab or a teleport spell and your dusty key to taverly dungeon and go around if you dont have 70 agility. Range there until 80 and beyond.

...I'm lvl 60 range now, i'm p2p and i just want high lvl range.. but i have no idea where to train,

Look here for training place ideas.

i've just bought 5k iron arrows, i'll buy more if i need,

That will get you to about level 62.5 if you don't pick them up

or almost about level 68 if you do pick them up.

...i need to know where to train from like 60-70 70-80

If you pick up your arrows then you need

about 6830 arrows to reach 70 and

about 23100 arrows to reach 80.

I have 66 defence too so i can hold my own against some stuff without spots...

Well, you don't have to train against high level monsters you know.

You earn range exp as RangeExp = HitDone*4

So, as long as you are hitting monsters "constantly" then you are doing well.

The level really doesn't matter.

Safe spots allow you to train efficiently since you don't have to stop for food runs, etc.

Use Curse pulling to make arrow pick up easy.

The Minotaurs in the SOS are nice because they are non-aggressive

to you and they drop a lot of arrows.

Hope this helps
