Will we get banned if we both log in? br34d Posted July 6, 2007 Share Posted July 6, 2007 thats the same with me and my brother. as long as you have 2 different computers (that are not connected to the same router with wires i think) they will have a different ip address (1 digit off at the end). and jagex will use that rather than the "last logged in from:" ip. but i use a wireless laptop, and my brothers desktop is wired to the router, and we havn't been banned within the 6 months or so we have been playing like this. done with runescape Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Muntrue Posted July 6, 2007 Share Posted July 6, 2007 If i am correct JaGex doesnt only look at the IP adress you login from but can also optain the MAC adress A mac adress is your network card's fingerprint, each mac adress is unique. So as long as you login at the same time from the same IP there wouldnt be a problem as long as the MAC adresses are different wich is the case if you login from 2 different computers.
