All The Items In My Inventory, Gone

Featured Replies

Hello, this is my first post, and it's already regarding a problem

I come over to the forums to read the guides, most of 'em really useful

cutting the crap, the other day, i was training my magic in the jail in Port Sarim, later i log out

when i relogin, ALL MY ITEMS and ONLY MY THREE BEST ARMOUR MADE IT

as you could have guessed, i was in Lumbridge

most of you probably would be thinking that I died, sure, most probably i did, BUT HOW??

there was no way i would be killed in A Jail, i was hitting a thief and a pirate!!

they were locked up!

so if someone could tell me what Might have happen, or could show me that it was a bug, and i could ask runescape to fix it, I'd appreciate It

Did you log out by clicking the "log out" button? If you just logged out by leaving it alone for 30 seconds or closing the window, it's possible a random event could have shown up and killed you. If you logged out with nothing happening to you, then I don't know what it could be.

OMG, i didn't press log out, i let it log out by itself

WHAT RANDOM EVENT? ARGH!!!!!!

WHAT RANDOM EVENT? ARGH!!!!!!

Assuming you're a non-member, you could have been killed by any of Cap'n Hand, the Drunken Dwarf, the Evil Chicken, Rick Turpentine, the Security Guard, or the Swarm,

so to say

"Jagex will not be held responsible for any item lost"?

this is so unfair!!

Could have easily been prevented had you simply logged out you know. :-k

From the sound of it, you were AFK training mage... Idk if that's true or not... but either way, it's not Jagex's fault you "just forgot to log out!"... It's your own... And this is most definitely a rant and not a bug...

Oh and by the way you broke a rule AFK training or not:

What is AFK Training?

AFK training is Away From Keyboard training. While you are playing on RuneScape, you must be at the computer. Away from keyboard training is not allowed, and you should log out when you leave the computer.

I'm sorry, but there's nothing here to resolve. If you don't log out when you leave the computer, you are prey to any random even that comes a'knockin'.

I don't mean to sound too brutal when I say this, but it's in no way Jagex's fault. You can't get mad at anybody or anything for yourself, as this was entirely in your hands. In the future, I would recommend taking Jagex's advice and logging out whenever you use the computer. Or if you are just multi tasking (reading other websites), then check back to RuneScape at least every 10-20 seconds or so, to check for random events and make sure that you aren't logged out.

Now I'm locking this since we've come to the conclusion that this was not a bug.
