There is such thing as art that sucks. Or art that really isn't art? That's what stoked's sigs are. I've never even seen a full peice by him that isn't a sig.

Real artists would be open-minded about different styles of art. Don't like their stuff anyway? Fine. Throughout Stoked's stay here, he has done nothing but said how other peoples' art suck (and if I don't mis-recall, I can't remember him ever giving any contructive criticism) and how we're all disappointing him. We just wanted to let him know how it feels.

Yup. Much like that VRhymez guy that was around here for a Little bit (he disaperared when we were suposed to have a gfx battle though, hah :lol: . Never returned again) he gives no C&C at all and basicly puts down everyone's artwork.

Going with what J_Rod said, its hard to define what art is. Personaly, i think art is having "some" kind of perspective on what you want as an outcome (what i mean by some, is like for example abstracts i'll mess around with a lot, but i still have at least a small idea of what i want) Not just random...ness.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Ask Nad or Azvi, I'd be the first to say there's a over emphasis on if something is easy to do or not. Despite that, if something is still easy, there should be some point to it much as Nad said. Randomness doesn't get you very far. What seemingly is a few brushes and a pic slapped on it with no justice to the pic by the brushes around it doesn't seem very thought out.

It turned out exactly what I wanted it to look like and I still didn't like it very much, but I use it anyway since it's just different. I've been staying out of this because I have a bias opinion, since no matter who does it, I don't really like the style. I don't think anyone should be flaming him... but I don't think credit is due either. Besides, you get what you give.
