This is about my third or fourth blog, all of which either died because of lack of interest or because I requested that they be closed. I've decided to create another blog because I need some motivation, and possibly a little help.

 

 

 

Some time last summer, I was browsing these forums, bored, and came across a video showing the dag kings. I'd read about them before, and thought I'd watch it. The video was about an hour long, and I watched the entire things straight through, got to the end, and thought "That looks fun; I want to go there."

 

 

 

A year later, and I might stand a chance. My first goal is to get 80 magic (using runes I crafted myself), then 80 ranged, then find a team. Since I've never been to dag kings before, I'd need someone to show me the ropes, how to get there, how to pull off the entrance correctly, and so on. I have these supplies at the moment:

My computer decided to restart when I was 50 xp from 79, so I logged in to find I missed the screenshot entirely.

That was my inventory when I left. Bobbinator17, who maged along with me, died when he got too close to Prime, so I had to save his Guthans parts and other items. I ran out of prayer, had no sara brews, restores, or prayer pots left, and Rex fell when I had 11 hp left. I teleported out immediately after getting the drop.

Also, I see you're a member of GOF; I want to get into the clan, but I've run into the problem that I don't know anyone in GOF, so I can't get in. That's why I'm looking for a team here and not joining (yet).

I'll probably have to get to know someone in GoF, but right now I'm concentrating on the levels. Once I get all of them, I'll make it a priority to get into GoF, though if you have any help to offer, I wouldn't turn it down.

Yes, I'm catching the all the chinchompas I'll need for 80 ranged myself, since I'm currently lacking in money and like getting my own materials myself. This should get me to 72 hunter.

I never thought of that. I posted it on the forums there, and now I'm just waiting for someone to notice that it's there.

 

 

 

And thanks, the mining wasn't easy, but I'll tell you, now that I have it, it was worth all the effort to get there.

 

 

 

I got sick of hunting for chinchompas, so I'm breaking out my bow and getting ranged xp the old-fashioned way. I don't care if it's slow, I'm just sick of hunting.

 

 

 

Killing two birds with one stone here: I had a bloodveld slayer task anyway, so I figured that I might as well kill them if I was going to use bow and arrows.

 

 

 

I'm ranging bloodvelds, watching my xp go up, and as I'm 50 xp from getting 79 ranged, my computer decides it needed to restart on me. I log back in and see that I suddenly have 79 ranged.

Good luck Dking, it is something I'd love to do big-time but I can't join GoF because of their new IIRC rule. You should defnitely join them if you can; they are probably the most elite crew when it comes to Dking.

My first ever trip to Kings, with Bobbinator17 and a friend of his. After 6 failed entrances and running into another team, we finally got in. Not too many kills in, Bob got a dragon axe, and his friend got a mud battlestaff.

 

 

 

His friend had to teleport, so we were maging it alone. When bringing Rex over, Bobbinator accidentally went out too far, getting Prime on him. He died, so I rushed over, picking up his fury, wizard boots, spear, helm and skirt. Being the last man standing, I decide to go it alone until I was out of supplies. After about another 10 rex kills, I was out of restores, sara brews, and prayer potions, and teleported out with no prayer and 11 hp.

 

 

 

Quite the first trip.
