Infernalz
ok... yesterday my friend went off 2 world 16 to make airs there. he said he is going to make a 900K profit! he bought the ess, makes money off the airs he gets, and still has to pay the people. and he is getting lvls like crazy! (ok hes lower then lvl 44 rc so he lvls fast...) so aturally i want to do this also. im lvl 61 RC and would REALLY like 91 for double nats. i ifigured i need 1117000 ess to get there. what i need to know is how i can make a profit off all this! which i know i can because if he can, so can i. so i figure 20gp each rune ess, and 2k each run... and i NEED some sort of formula to know how im going to make a profit from all this. -i have roughly 6m gp right now- so far ive gotten this: 6m%2020= about 3k ess i can buy and stil have enough 2 pay for runs. 25X6X20=3k 1117000%25=44600 (total runs) 44600X2k=89360000gp needed for all the runs. 1117000X6X20=134040000 134040000-89360000=44680000gp total after i sell all the airs minus the 2k per run the problem is, i dont know how many ess to buy in the first place, so i can still pay the 2k a run and still make a profit. 2020 is the total price of each ess and run put together, which is where i think im messing all this up with, 25 ess per run and each ess is not the same...25 is ess per run. now i can 6X the airs i get, so i can get 150 airs per run. a run is each time i trade one of them for the ess. 1117000 is the total ess im going to need for lvl 91 rc. % is divided. X is times. 20 is how many per air rune. ive been trying to figure this out all night, and i just cant get it! please tif help me! i know i can turn a profit from all this, and i just cant get it! if you cant figure out how i could turn a profit from all this then say so... but please say why. :wall: :wall:     :x :x :ohnoes: :ohnoes: ^Click for my Newgrounds page! Marco
Read one of the guides on it; http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=537349&highlight= And your friend wouldn't even break even at level 44, let alone make 900k.
Acelgoyobis
I'll take a stab at this. If you only craft air runes, from level 61 to level 91 you will need to craft 1120108 rune essense (which is about the same as your calculation) If you need to buy large amounts of essense, you will need to pay at least 40 gp per essense. Here's the plan (This assumes that you are right at level 61 runecrafting and exactly 6 million gp, and the price of airs is 20 ea in large amounts.) Note: In the beginning you will lose money, at the end of phase 1, you will break even. Phase 1 -Buy 38794 ess, this will cost you 1551760 gp. -Craft all of them, this will take you 1552 trips, and get you 232764 air runes. Now you will be at level 66 runecrafting. Sell all of your air runes to get back to 6 million again. Phase 2 -Buy a bunch of ess, then sell them as air runes when you are short on money, repeat until level 77. -Now, for each load of essense you craft, you will get 500 extra gp profit, at level 77, you will receive about 3.19 million gp profit. Phase 3 -Repeat phase 2 until you get to level 88 runecrafting. -Here for each load of essense you craft, you will receive 1000 gp profit, at level 88, you will receive about 23.2 million gp profit. Phase 4 -Get to 91 runecrafting, for each load you craft you will receive 1500 gp profit. Dammit, now I wish I had 55 runecrafting now. :!:
Infernalz
um_bong0 WOW! great guide! does show a ton about world 16 air crafting! :D ------ Acelgoyobis ok im using that!! but in phase 1, did you have the 2k per run included there? runing all those airs will take too long to me. still, going to use that, best way to do this and make money :D ^Click for my Newgrounds page! simpletron
assuming that you pay 2k per run and buy ess at 40ea (which is what i have done), so total cost per run is 3k (2k for runner, 25*40=1k for ess). this way one third of the cost is in the ess and two thirds is for the runner. with 6mil buy 50k ess, which is how many ess you can buy with one third of you money(2mil gp = 6mil gp/3, and 50k ess =2mil gp/ 40) and the remaining 4mil will pay for runners to make money, you need to know your break even price. the break even price is the price where you dont make or lose money and if you sell higher than it you make money. for 61-65 rc, you make 150 airs and your cost are 3000 gp so your break even price is 3000/150 = 20gp. for 66-76 rc, you make 175 airs and your cost are 3000 gp so your break even price is 3000/175 = 17.14gp. for 77-87 rc, you make 200 airs and your cost are 3000 gp so your break even price is 3000/200 = 15gp. for 88-98 rc, you make 225 airs and your cost are 3000 gp so your break even price is 3000/225 = 13.33gp. if you think of this way you will never lose money and make some money once you get to a higher level good luck
Infernalz
yay another great solution to this! :XD: jeez im bad at this  i guess i left out something simple -.- but do you have somesort of equation for that? i saw the one with 2m= 6m/3 and such, but still, like 1 with the virables for price per ess, which is what id like the most from it. i know that 40 per rune ess is a small amount, but i like to start out buying low, to get even more money :D. but im still going to use that! simple, lose some money, but get 1m more per 50k ess! and simple to follow  ^Click for my Newgrounds page!
