the stupidest trust scammer EVER

Featured Replies

ok, i was using my meat tenderizer in castle wars and this [developmentally delayed]ed rich lvl 76 noob scammer comes up to me, he didnt know wat my item was and he wanted it, he was wearing a d chain, d legs, infinity boots, chaos gloves or red gloves, a fury, a whip, obby shield, and of coarse, the castle wars hood and cape. he tried the trust scam and kept annoying me with "come on man plz" "just let me barrow it", he didnt know what it is so he obviously never did recipe for disaster. he wanted it badly, he must of got the idea that it was a rare item worth millions cuz i kept saying no. he offered to let me barrow his rune boots (not infinity =() while he tried the hammer. i knew i had him now, it was time to scam the scammer, i talked to him for 2 hours acting like his 'friend' then he asked about the meat tenderizer again (thinking that he was about to scam me).

i told him "ok... ill let u borrow it.. if u let me hold onto ur d chain, but u better not take it or im reporting u". so then we met at my house, we traded and he said "i cant wield it" then i said "hang on a second, eat this"

i traded him a mysterious fruit, he ate it and said he still couldnt equip it. i told him to follow me, i brought him to lumbridge. since it has been far more then 60 seconds i said, "hang on i got to go peepee" he said "ok" then i quickly turned private chat off, then i logged. i switched to world 2 then teled to edgevile with my glory, then i removed him and added him to ignore, then i kept private chat on friends =).

later i sold the d chain, and spent the money on my house.

SILLY SCAMMERS, WHEN WILL THEY LEARN

Aren't YOU the scammer in this situation?

he who trys to scam first is the scammer, he attempted to scam me over 15 times, in the end he thought he was still scamming me. so i am not a scammer. last i checked on 1 of my other accounts he was in world 2, most likely trying to sell what he thought was worth "millions". i never told him it was worth anything, he automaticly determined it was worth alot.

go me

First of all, you're the scammer right there.

And secondly, did you just assume he was scamming you? He might have just wanted to weild the hammer.

And lastly, this is the wrong forum.

once when i was a non member i wanted to join this clan, they had to do the trust trade thing to let me join. so seeing as they all were noobs, i knew they knew nothing of the game, and the dragon slayer quest. so i told them i had a rune scimmy, they wanted to trust trade. so i told them i was on a part of dragon slayer where my bank is locked due to melzar wanting revenge for killing him and i needed 10k to unlock it, the noobs stupidly payed the money, i spent a minute walking to the bank, then quickly threw on private chat off then logged and switched worlds.

once i was scammed out of 2k addy arrows, switched with iron >=(

once i saw this lvl 3 doing the "show me ur inventory spaces and ill give u free full load of lobbies. he was wearing the typical autoer clothes, i decided he was an autoer, so i deposited all my stuff and withdrew 4 rune ess (back before the pure ess) thinking that the auto may check the words and think its rune armor or weapons, sure enough it took them! it went back to the bank to restock! i did this around 40 times! then it ran out..... i bet the owner of that bot was surprised, he only had scammed about 160 rune ess! and he had lost about 1120 lobbies! they helped pay for my black t when i was a noob =)

i also have gotten bots stuck in the arburys house with the mugger, it killed them they lost their rune ess. i teled to lumbridge and they were walking everywhere

he might have not been scamming tho he might have actualy wanted to know

fulldragsigcopydh25.jpg

yeah i think you scammed him there. he just didn't know what it was and you tricked him into thinking it was worth as much as a d chain :shame:

soldersig.jpg

He obviously wasn't trying to scam you, as he didn't log as soon as the trade was complete. If he was just trading to get rich, he wouldn't have tried to wield it.

You scammed him, not the other way around.

And wrong forum.

perfect grammar is one thing, typing like a drugged monkey and enjoying it is another

AMEN!

Wow, You're the scammer. I hate scammers like you.

smallsigr.jpg

Now I understand the situation completely and you did scam this fellow. Whether he was trying to scam you first doesn't matter. The fact is that you scammed him and you never witnessed him doing anything wrong. Jagex defines scamming as deceiving other players and this was certainly deception. Whether or not he was trying to scam you, he was under the impression that you would give him your item in exchange for his dragon chain. Then after a few minutes, you would swap back. It doesn't matter if he was going to run off with your item or not, because he didn't and you don't know what his intentions were.

Now because you broke that mutual "promise" of returning each others items and ran off with his dragon chain instead, you deceived him - which under Jagex's definition, qualifies as item scamming. You don't know whether he was going to run off with your item or not, because you didn't give him that chance. Instead, you ran off with his. You never witnessed him doing anything wrong.

Locking this for that reason. If you think my logic is twisted, making this lock unjustified, then please contact one of our administrators. But either way, a story like this probably isn't best suited in BlogScape to begin with.
