To start things off,

 

I hate cats.

 

 

 

Now that that's out of the way, how often do I need to feed the kitten? I'm fishing while it grows up and I usually do something else (like read these forums) while I'm fishing. That along with the "you catch a ..." messages might make me miss the "Your kitten is starving and will eventually run away so you can't do the quests that require it" message.

I read that you don't have to feed it every time it meows. I also so a dialouge screen that told me the cat was lonely, is there a message like that for when it's hungry?

if you're catching trout or the like, just throw it a raw trout every couple runs. It doesn't cost you that much, and might save a lot of time in the long run.
