July 18, 200719 yr Im goin to go with mage logs, but which is faster at the same level? Like sharks or mages at, say, 88 fishing/wc.
July 18, 200719 yr sharks i cant fish them though but my friend got 1k of cooked sharks in 4 days and he's 82 fishing If you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.
July 18, 200719 yr Remember fishing is harder to level than woodcutting Click for blog!Watch great videos! http://uk.youtube.com/profile?user=plod64
July 18, 200719 yr Sharks are closer to the bank and there is no competition over them, while mages place may be crowded and trees cut down. Both are very slow though. I prefer other money making methods. Runescape Reader's Digest
July 18, 200719 yr monkfish are better than sharks for both exp AND cash. So a better question would be magics or MONKFISH. Proud owner of a Quest cape!
July 18, 200719 yr Author Vaskor, I assume you refer to merchanting? And monks may be good what do they sell for?
July 18, 200719 yr Both mage cutting and shark fishing is a waste of time. Go for monkfish (300ea) or yews (340ea). Retired 2146 overall - 136 combat - 6 skillcapes Plus I think the whole teenage girl thing will end soon (hopefully), because my girlfriend is absolutely in love with him(she is 18), and im beginning to feel threatened by his [Justin Bieber] dashing looks.
July 18, 200719 yr I think he means runecrafting nats/laws/deaths or killing various monsters, which are all better means of making money.
July 18, 200719 yr Author I think he means runecrafting nats/laws/deaths or killing various monsters, which are all better means of making money. Ok well monsters I dunno...and rc is too boring and you have to pay too much attention hehe. Besides wc is faster then nats or laws I find.
July 18, 200719 yr I think he means runecrafting nats/laws/deaths or killing various monsters, which are all better means of making money. Well, my main money sources are: 1. Miscellania Kingdom 2. Small Time Merchanting (selling occasional stuff like teletabs, potions, dueling rings, bronze bars, magic bows, molten glass etc.) 3. Making and high alching magic longs 4. A little bit of commodity merchanting (for instance, I can buy 1K of sharks for 800K and sell for 1K ea in 100 chunks - stuff like that) I don't cut mages or fish sharks anymore. Too boring and waste of time. And I agree with a statement that Monkfish is better both exp and money wise (though Sharks are easier to sell). Runescape Reader's Digest
July 18, 200719 yr I can't say anything about the speed of sharks ( i find monks are much better) but for magics - with 99 wc and a drag axe i can only average about 100 an hour, this has been constant since lvl 91 so tbh it's a rather slow process. @Trade_With

It looks like similar proportion holds for sharks too. I get about 115 sharks per hour being lvl 79 fishing. A person I know with lvl 99 fishing says he gets the same amount of sharks per hour. July 18, 200719 yr It's usually crowded at mage trees and its slow to get logs, and shark fishing is slow too. I'd choose sharks over magics but i reccoment monkfish for leveling and money.
