Lock Picking

The OP said it was just a doorknob with a hole in it, you don't need detailed lockpicking instructions. Use a nail and push straight in. They aren't made to be secure, incase of an emergency they can be easily opened. Just gives a symbol of security so family members don't walk in.
Tis what I said :P

Yep, it was said a few times but others I guess wanted to show off how good of lock pickers they are (lol) with detailed instructions that don't work on this kind of lock.

trapical is knowledgable in lock picking - I suggest you asking him :P

Nice to know I get around ::'

Hackedpunk, the house door you are describing, just use the aforementioned method of a long nail to open it. I personally use a the metal pen ink cartridge found in many mid-level pens. Lol @ tootsie roll stick, great idea, that would work as well.

Now kinda OT, but whatever...

Its almost impossible to open a house door with a paperclip though, thats a movie trick. You are much more likely to gain entry by lock bumping. Get a uncut key from a shop and care into it yourself in certain points of which I will not go into detail on this forum and "bump" it in the lock to relase the pins in the tumbler. With the right amount of pressure you can open a lock pretty easily. Don't practice on your front door though because you can break the lock by doing this and then you'd need to get a new one hehe.

Bump keys are pretty lame, they work but not only do they take the fun out of it, but you need a bump key for each lock type of each company. <.<

You need a good 'ol fasion Thirty Two piece lock pick set. Granted an 8 piece has everything you ever need, but why spend $19 when you can spend $79 and get the professional version? :-w

/Have personally defeated the following lock companies: Best, Master, Corbin, Russwin, Kwikset, Titan, Yale.

//Once did a Corbin using a paperclip and a pen clip as the tension wrench. I don't recommend it :|
