Which bolt is better...?

Which bolt is better... Diamond or Ruby (E)

thx in advice

ruby helps fighting those super big monsters with lots of hp but is great if you have lots of food

i'm not sure about diamond i don't use it often but it's special to ignore range defence *like verac except applies to prayer and melee* is quite helpful on those high def monsters, don't know depends, probably diamond is more helpful in those cases

Ok ty im making 65 fletching anyways and make them diamond :D

Diamond (e) effect occurs VERY often.

Plus the ruby(e) is 20% of REMAINING HP.

so using ruby on chaos ele may hit 70 but when he is down to 50 hp its only 10...

so Diamond FTW

99 Ranged on 2/6/07 99 Hit Points on 9/5/08 99 Defense on 26/4/08 99 Attack on 14/2/09 99 Strength on 25/2/09 99 Slayer on 13/9/09\:D/

Diamond bolts aren't like a ranged version of veracs. The spec rarely happens, and it only works when you hit in the first place. Plus it doesn't work through prayer. Apparently, what the spec DOES do is make it more likely to hit high WHEN YOU DO HIT if the enemy has high ranged armor. Ruby is better because arent very useful in the first place, and you can hit up to 50 on some monsters.

Come to #tip-it on Swift IRC, if you're cool

diamond for low lcv creatures, and blodd for high lv creatures, but after hitting a high number, switch to diamond.
