July 19, 200719 yr ruby helps fighting those super big monsters with lots of hp but is great if you have lots of food i'm not sure about diamond i don't use it often but it's special to ignore range defence *like verac except applies to prayer and melee* is quite helpful on those high def monsters, don't know depends, probably diamond is more helpful in those cases You are not alone, Our Father, God will always be with you.

July 19, 200719 yr Diamond bolts aren't like a ranged version of veracs. The spec rarely happens, and it only works when you hit in the first place. Plus it doesn't work through prayer. Apparently, what the spec DOES do is make it more likely to hit high WHEN YOU DO HIT if the enemy has high ranged armor. Ruby is better because arent very useful in the first place, and you can hit up to 50 on some monsters. Proud owner of a Quest cape!
