July 19, 200718 yr I'm just about ready to do the final battle in Fremennik Isles. Any helpful hints, tips, or tricks for the trolls and troll king, not already found in the tip it guide? I'm level 84 with 68 atk/str/hp; 67 def; 69 mage; 51 prayer; and 60 rng thanks in advance!
July 19, 200718 yr Use Protect from Range instead of Protect from Melee. If you use Protect from Melee, the Ice Troll King will hit you across the room. If you're lucky, you'll stand within melee range but he'll use Range attacks on you and you'll be alright. Just make sure you have a large amount of high healing food. If you're lucky, you'll stand within melee range but he'll use Range attacks on you and you'll be alright. Just make sure you have a large amount of high healing food. I recommend Tuna Potatoes since they heal 22hp. If I remember correctly he will also occasionally cast ice barrage :ohnoes: , but not that often. Wear the armor that you make during the quest as it GREATLY reduces damage from the trolls. His range attack are about as common as the ice barrage so just prepare for melee with the occasional mage and/or range. Monkfish works well and sup pots obviously help with any boss battle. Just remember that you can ask your escort (forgot name) for some prayer and strength pots as well as food for a limited supply.
