No reference rendering with pen in Corel Painter. Then colored in Corel Photopaint.

pretty nice, but dont like the ears/horns, he looks evil

Stomach is too sucked in and hind legs are too developed.... the front legs look like skeletons... not sure what's going on with the tail... and yes, he looks evil... I'd give him eyeballs or reduce the horn effect on the ears....

it looks slight malnourished, pegasus is a good mythical creature yet yours looks slightly evil to me  and tail is to fat in my opinion

Good job, may need a bit of tweaking but good stance and idea though!

[sig inserted here....in few days]

that is partly why it is a WIP....Work in Progress....

Yup.

A LOT better than Pegasus on steroids and a starvation diet.

We can now excuse that all because hes an evil winged horse from hell

Nice to see he went to have his tail trimmed.

Losing the little wings on the feet also makes it look neater too... Who needs winged feet if you've got 7' wings anyway?

Wings need a little texture methinks though. Right now it has a slightly insubstantial feel in the way the wing edges aren't in clear lines, particularly the trailing edge of the wings. They give it a boiling-fog feel with all the shaded hollows and raised areas in the wing.

The leading edge of the wing in the foreground also has a folded-over appearance with the heavy dark band, makes the entire wing look a little like a giant ear.

Looks much better now though :)
