Featured Replies

lol this has only happened 1 time but now its happend again and it wont go away every worldi go to it lags i dont know how to stop it and its realy annoying iwanna do some quests but not of a risk that high

Click Control+Alt+Delete and see what is eating your CPU usage up. If you really dont see anything that is going crazy there, try a simple restart of your computer which for the most part works. If it continues you may have to turn off certain programs like MSN off while you do the quest.

This should really be moved to the Tech and Computers forum.

Unfortunately, lag is usually caused by high network traffic -- both internal and external network -- and from physical problems to the external network. I'm not an expert on ethernet technology, nor can I tell you what you can do to "fix" lag.

If you have high-speed internet service like through your cable company or phone service, then you or your parents should call them to see if there's some maintenance work being done in your area. I have high-speed internet through cable and from experience, it's best to call them and have them do a remote diagnostic of your cable modem box. One possibility is that the cable underground has somehow been damaged and a crew needs to be sent out to get it replaced. If that's the case, then there isn't much you can do about it except let the cable company do their work to fix the problem.

Hope this helps.

If you have dial-up then thats your biggest problem.

Otherwise if you got highspeed internet go to thisInternet Speedometor It's a very good site trustworthy. It shows how fast your internet connection is if it is at 500kbs it should be good for runescape.

Try clearing some files out a cluttered computer never helps. Also the window you have open WILL lag it badly. I have forums up and thats it. With runescape of course.

Best fo luck hope the lag leaves.
