Observatory Quest - Incorrect Guide - Help and Advice

The map of the goblin dungeon from the observatory quest is different than the actual dungeon. The stairs are in a different place, and the chest that was supposed to have the Keep Key is empty...

EDIT: I'm prettys sure that I'm not allowed to bump this yet so I'm just going to make edits...

EDIT:: I've killed the gaurd, walked to the chest, searched it, walked back to the gaurd, tried to open the gate, and killed it again 11 times now...

EDIT::: I tried using a dagger on the books on his desk like in elemental workshop, but it didn't do anything...

EDIT:::: Been an hour now...

EDIT::::: Someone else was doing the quest, but the chest that he said he found the key in had a spider in it that attacked him...

EDIT:::::: If you search a chest that had a spider that you've killed in it, it'll say "Nothing in that chest except spiders!"

SUCCESS! The "kitchen," not "keep" as the guide says key was located in the LAST chest that I searched in the dungeon. The chest with the KITCHEN key which will open the KITCHEN gate is at the end of the corridor directly south of the entrance. Also, the stairs to the observatory are not located at the end of the forked hallway as shown on the quest map, the stairs are at the junction before the forked path which goes in four directions. I hope that nobody else has to walk around for an hour and a half killing goblins and spiders for this quest...

EDIT: Also, you don't need to search sacks for the mould. You have to inspect the shaking "goblin stove."

EDIT:: Also, you have to match the constellation that you see with one from the chart on the first floor. I got aries, and my reward was an uncut sapphire..

haha yeah after i realised the ladder to the observatory was in a different position to the map i started thinking bout the key moving as well.

haha that chest was the last i searched also.

Dang, when I did this on my pure for 175 qps (barrows gloves ftw) I spend AGES finding the keep key...The last chest I searched contained it lol :wall:
